Music For A Long Drive

This past Saturday, I left the house at 6:30, heading to Camarillo for an airshow. It is a fun, two-hour drive that goes from crowded socal highways to the pretty hills of Calabassas and finally, the farm lands of Camarillo. Ms. Blue Eyes and I have done together on two occasions and it is such that she is in my head the entire time. About an hour in, you hit Ventura Highway, and at this point, our tradition is to play America's song, "Ventura Highway" along this stretch. I do this even when she's not with me and yesterday was no exception.

What was different about this time is that after the song played, I let Google stream whatever they saw fit and the songs that followed all reminded me of my pretty girl. After I'd stopped to stretch my legs, I was able to go through that playlist and do screenshots of some of the songs. There are pieces of me and you in every one of these songs and I can't wait to listen to them with you again in just 66 days.
