You Were Everywhere Today - Again

I had the best time today with my four (not so) little ones! As you know, I am crazy about them but even though I was very focused on them and very present, you were still in my thoughts today. The wildflowers made sure of that and they were everywhere! I remember the first time I saw desert poppies and could never forget it because I was with you! How nice to know that this was both of our first times seeing these beautiful flowers. We'd entered into JT from the southern entrance and a few miles in and to the left, there was a draw that was covered with desert poppies. Well, today we started at the top half of JT and we started to see them as we drove down Geology Tour Road. When we stopped to walk toward Malapai Hill, I was stunned to see them all over the place! We eventually drove to the Palm Springs park exit and stopped at the same spot that you and I first saw them and they were even MORE prevalent! I've never seen such a dense display of wildflowers of any kind, in fact, and these were 90% desert poppies! I got some petals of the poppies and a few other wildflowers and will be bringing them next, I mean, this, month. In the meantime, here are a few pictures from today.
