You Were Everywhere Today!

My oldest child turned 20 earlier this month so I took her on a trip to Los Angeles, which has become a budding tradition for us. We try to get there once per quarter, but with COVID being what it is, it had been close to a year since we last visited. The purpose of this post isn't to go into the details of the day, but to tell you that even though you're 6200 miles away, you were everywhere in L.A. today. I could hardly take a breath without being reminded of you and that was really nice.
As we boarded the train, I noticed that the bottom car was empty. Even on the second floor, there was only one other person and I kept thinking that if you were with me, I could get so many sexy pictures of you: a picture or two taken from the aisle that shows just your long legs poking out into the aisle; one of you looking out the window with your shirt unbottoned and showing half a breast; standing in the aisle (front and back)...Oh the shots we'd get during that 80 minute ride to L.A.!

The first time I saw this view was with you. Hell, the first time I rode this train was with you!

I gave her the tour of Union Station using the tour that you gave me as a guide.

The Wiltern...another first time seeing this with you, as well as some of the other theaters in L.A.

As we walked south of Petersen's Automotive Museum to Little Ethiopia, we passed these beautiful little (expensive!) houses and I thought about how much you'd love to walk down this street. The entire block was just beautiful, as you can imagine.

This pole made me think of a stripper pole and that made me think of you dancing. I love when you dance for me and those videos will always be among my favorite.

We eventually made our way to The Last Bookstore (another place that I had no idea even existed until you!) and I saw titles of books that reminded me of you...

This made me think of the alleyway in Downtown Riverside that I photographed you in while you were wearing white pants. We could do the same thing here.

The Last Bookstore. I have taken my daughter and my sons to visit, but without you, they probably would never have seen it.

Artwork in Union Station. These paintings lined the are that connects the station to the subway. I know you would've loved to see them.

A gentleman playing piano in Union Station

Pretty architecture in Union Station. You told me all about this place and the making of it.

I had a delicious, greasy Wetzel's Pretzels hotdog! I had my first one with you!

I know we have packed several things already into your September visit here, but maybe we manage a day trip to L.A. Or maybe we save that for next year?! I'm game for either one and I'm especially game for anything that brings you back to me.
