Wildflower Donkey Wonderland

How appropriate is is that just as we started talking today, I decided to walk up this wash, where I discovered...poppies?! You and I have walked all around this wash before but we never walked the length of it, so if there were poppies in it then, we didn't see them. It was the wild sunflowers that initially drew me up the wash today but the shock of seeing all that orange is what motivated me to go further. After we were done talking, I walked back to the beginning and took several 10-20 second videos, with the intent of making a video using an app that I bought just for that purpose. It is clear that video is not my forte, but I'm happy with the result for the first effort. I'll get better at using the app and my hope is that when we're in Indiana next month I get lots of video and make several minute-long videos out of them. That would make for many great posts, wouldn't it?
