The Things We Do For Love

I remember getting this text like it was yesterday. You sent it on June 2, 2021 and I was so happy to read this because it meant that I'd still get to see you somewhat regularly. Those last few months that you were here were such a risk and a sacrifice and it was funny to think that our relationship began that very same way! We were crazy then and we must be crazy, even now! I know this for sure because I suspect that we'd both do it all over again if we had to.
