The Next Photoshoot

There are sooooo many reasons why I am looking forward to our vacation next month: seeing that pretty face every day, walking down the street holding hands, visiting new places together, spooning at night...I'm so excited for all of that! I'm also excited about the potential for a couple of fun photoshoots. On our first night there, we are staying in an amazing hotel and have an amazing room, which I chose because 1. I want to celebrate your birthday in style and 2. I wanted an ideal place to take pictures. It's also the reason why we are not checking out until noon that day--so we can have a solid hour of morning light to shoot in!

Another possibility for shooting is at the hotel in Cambria. I chose a nice big room with a balcony view for the same reason that I chose the room at the first hotel: 1. I want to celebrate your birthday in style and 2. I want a good place for pictures. At this hotel, I'd like to get mostly simple pictures of you and I in the room, on the couch doing boyfriend-girlfriend stuff, but I have to say a significant achievement would be if we could shoot behind the hotel where a river runs through the woods! It's certainly not a priority, and it might not even fit in the schedule (this time), but man, that would be amazing!

I'm not putting any pressure on us to shoot (well, just a little), but it's my hope that between the mountains, the farmland and our hotel rooms, we make some great art this visit. I'll be bringing along props, such as that big brown hat, the colorful wraps, the masks (bunny rabbit mask will be back), etc. I love how well my pretty girl photographs and my blog could use some more material. I've attached a few from past shoots that were so much fun.
