The Eastern Side Of Town

It was such a nice surprise to come across this picture as I perused my hard drive last night. It was taken in March, 2020 towards the end of a hike through open land in the eastern part of town. I'm so glad that we found this spot, as very few people get to see it. To get there, we walked past a gate that appears to be locked, but is really there to keep people away. There were plenty of donkeys along the way but they stayed far away, very much so unlike the donkeys located near our usual donkey-viewing area. I think that this is because there's less housing in this area, so these donkeys are truly wild. I also think it's because mountain lions are known to be in this particular area, no doubt because there are no people here. I did not see any mountain lions, but I was honored to see your naked body posing against a rail fence. I still have this hat, by the way, and I will be bringing it with me in November. Large hats make for great props and additions to a scene and you wear hats well.
