I was editing pictures tonight and when I came across this one, I put my headphones on to block out all noise and gave it my full attention. It didn't need much (there is no waist trimming, no lengthening of limbs, and all the rest) and was therefore a very quick edit. What I spent the most time on was picking out the perfect black-and-white filter and I eventually settled on this one. I'm so happy with everything about it, but what I celebrate the most is that I get to photograph you in such a state and such a place!

The title for this picture was taken from the title of a playlist that I made for you and shared with you just last week. The playlist consists of 32 songs, all of which except for one, was made in the 1960s and all of which make me think of you. I started compiling that playlist just days after our last visit in April of this year and added to it until just a few weeks before our most recent reunion. As I've told you before, there is no music that reminds me of you like music from the mid-to-late 1960s. It just sums up your energy so well for me, and this picture does the same thing for me. It just occurred to me that since we both have this playlist, we should pick a date and time to listen to a particular song from this playlist, so that we are both doing the same thing at the same time!
