Pretty girl, like you, I am so happy that you saw those seven questions on IG, and so glad that you thought of us doing this! It reminds me of when we were in our early days and sent each other questions to answer. It was nice to take a jog down memory lane and I enjoyed the challenge of answering these questions without writing a novel for each one. I tried to keep them all to just one answer, but most demanded that I write at least two answers per question. It was fun curating pictures to go along with my answers, too, some of which will appear on a post. As you know, I have many, many pictures that document our 10 years together, and the next 10 years will bring more!

What’s Your Happiest Memory Of Us?

I decided that those first few overnighters that we took out of town are my happiest memories of us. It was such a new thing for me and it felt like a whirlwind! The anticipation of finally getting to see you again, the excitement of the drive to our destination was magical and did not seem real! I was damned crazy and unreal that I had this pretty, PRETTY girl next to me in my little silver Infiniti as we zoomed down to San Diego or wherever it is that we were going. I felt so adult, so…accomplished! I’d never had such an exciting time and to be having it with the girl of my dreams was otherworldly. I use that word often with you, don’t I?

Remember visiting Whitewater Preserve for the first time? Or seeing Robert Cray in San Diego? That first trip to Joshua Tree? That trip to see Brother Ali in San Diego?! That’s when I knew you were really into me. That’s when I realized that you had fallen for me and that you were as head-over-heels for me as I was for you! I’ve been happy every year that we’ve been together, but these early days certainly stand out for me.
