As I drove back from the airport, it hit me that the cabin was costing me $160/night and I really should get as much of my money out of it as I can. Plus, I didn'twant to go home and fake a happy face. With that, I headed up the 62 and arrived at the cabin 40 minutes later. I had a terrible headache and didn't feel like doing anything except laying down, but I was determined to push through it and make it a productive day, 'cuz that's what I do.
The first thing I did when I arrived at the cabin was rifle through the outside trashcan to retrieve all the food that I'd tossed a couple hours earlier. That was a success. I then unloaded most of the contents of my car and sat down to think about what to do next. I decided to walk around and get a few pictures with my camera, since it would be the last time I was at this cabin and I might want to remember it later.
After taking pictures, I laid down on the couch and spent three hours trying to go to sleep and relieve myself of my nagging headache. It didn't work, so I made myself breakfast with the garbage can ingredients. It was good, but i didn't enjoy it.
It was funny and while it didn't let me forget my headache, it was nice to find something to laugh at. I watched about three hours of SNL before heading out to get a few more pictures and then making dinner. I pulled out all the garbage can chicken and veggies that I'd salvaged and cooked up another delicious meal that I did not enjoy.

After dinner, I eventually found The Carol Burnett Show. I've always loved her show and I almost laughed out loud (I would've, but it would've hurt my head too much to do so) when I saw who the guest was; it was Gloria Swanson, who I'd just learned about just two days earlier. It was nice to see her talent and I was surprised that she had such a good sense of humor. The original show aired on September 29, 1973.
After a few hours of watching TV, I laid down hoping to fall asleep, but the noises outside (the wind was quite heavy) kept me awake. My head still hurt like hell, but around 2:30 AM, I finally went out and slept until 8:00 AM, still with the same headache that I had just hours earlier. I was hoping to be rid of my headache by the time I woke up.
