Oliver: Tractors and House

I was reading one of my books on tractors tonight and took a long time perusing through the section on Oliver tractors. I decided to price some tractors online and soon came across the 1958 Oliver Super 44 that you see below. It is located in Pennsylvania and the owner is asking $11,500. This is a high price for tractors of this vintage, but this is an Oliver and there were far fewer Oliver tractors made than there were John Deere, Allis Chalmers, et al. If I had the money and space, I'd buy this thing in a minute.

As you might've guessed, this perusal of Oliver tractors also get me thinking about our visit to the Oliver's Southbend homestead earlier this year. I can't wait to get back to Indiana with you in April. We have so many more places to go in the years to come.
