Nostalgia - Sometimes I Worry

I have a few insecurities, but not many. Among the bigger ones is that I sometimes think that I'm too often stuck thinking and reminiscing of the past. Our past, that is. There are so many things that I miss about having you hear, and truthfully (and selfishly), I would trade then for now; that would mean that I got to see you more often and spend more time together. As I told you, it is hard for me to be without you, especially the first few weeks after we've been together, so if you were here, I'd never have that issue.

That feeling of being too nostalgic, does go away though, especially when I think about some of our recent trips. The ones that I've included of this latest trip to Chicago are a nice reminder that while our past was great, our present time and our future are also really good. I'm glad that we are able to make so many memories. The future with you is one of the things that is responsible for keeping me sound and mentally stable.
