Homestead Goddess

My pretty girl and I will be returning to the desert in just a few weeks, and I am SO ready to get this show on the road! Of all the places that we visit, the Mojave Desert is the place that feels the most "ours." Not that Los Angeles, San Diego, etc. aren't "ours" (they very much so are), but there's something special about the Mojave. I think that it's because we discovered it together so early in our relationship and we've spent more time out here than anywhere else.

For me, the Mojave Desert is a glorious and wonderous beauty, but when my girl is there, it's that and more. Times three, even! While there, we are going to draw, paint, hike, watch documentaries, kiss, flirt, fuck and, of course, do some great photography. This is one of my favorites that I've ever taken of her while out in the Mojave. The sky and light is so dramatic and moody, the house is a great setting for her to pose in, and the pose. My, my, my that pose! Her height fills the vertical space between floor and ceiling, the angulation of her legs creates nice lines to follow, the way the fabric falls and also clings to her girly curves accentuates her so well and the sheen of the fabric provides nice contrast to the structure that surrounds her. It is a perfect picture in a perfect place, and we will be returning to that perfect place in two weeks.
