Birkin and Gainsbourg Gave Me An Idea

In an email that I sent to my pretty girl just tonight, I mentioned that upon learning that she's in love with something, I often fall in love with the same thing. Even if I'm not as crazy about that thing as she is, the fact that it makes her happy makes me happy. That was a mouthful, but to put it simply, her happiness is my happiness, and that's what love looks like.

Just tonight I was going through pictures of Jane Birkin, and came across this one of her and Serge Gainsbourg reclined in this chair and thought, "why haven't we done something like this?!" So, effectively this November, you and I are going to start doing couples pictures like this (and variations of it), whether we are in a Motel 6, a fine suite in Los Angeles, or an Air BNB. In fact, I propose that we do some sort of classy shoot like this every time we are together, as that would make for a fitting addition to our memories.
