When I write poetry, I usually write a haiku, but I'm trying a limerick today. I was motivated by one of the pieces that I saw this morning while watching CBS' Sunday Morning tribute to Charles Osgood. I found each and every piece well-done and I was glad that there was a focus on his humor. One of the pieces was on a limerick that he'd written, and that piece inspired me to do a little research on limericks and try one f my own. So, with that in mind, I bring you this limerick, which is about the first message that you sent to (the old) me, I Drive A Honda:
A Girl From South Bend
There once was a girl from South Bend
Who had quite an amazing rear end
She sent me a message
I thought as I read it,
"She's just found herself a boyfriend."
